Both Joe and Lisa are lovers of water and sun. Both have the astrological sign Cancer – (the Crab), and where do you find crabs? At the beach. So, it was very fitting that both Joe and Lisa met in South Carolina.
Joe is originally from Clayton, Alabama, southern to the core. He can make a mean cornbread. Lisa is originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania, PA Dutch. When we moved to North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, our first house purchased was a triplex. We were working full time, out of town, Joe was 2 hours south, and Lisa 2 hours north. Our housing was provided. Our goal was to stay at our work homes for the week and come home on the weekend to enjoy the beach.
